Alcoholics Anonymous Area 1 Alabama/Northwest Florida is the geographic area assigned by the General Service Office of Alcoholics Anonymous to the region that encompasses Alabama & Northwest Florida. Area 1 is comprised of 23 geographic Districts as well as one area-wide Spanish-speaking district.

Elected trusted servants from A.A. Groups - the Group Service Representatives (GSRs), other service committee members, and general members from the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous meet quarterly for the purpose of conducting Area 1 affairs. In addition, every other year, elected GSRs and committee members elect a delegate to the General Service Conference, and Area Committee Officers.
